PT Ancara Logistics Indonesia Tbk (ALII) has just completed its AGM on June 24, 2024. In the public expose, ALII has plans that are still in accordance with the plan before the IPO, namely the desire to add barges and tugboats.
Faisal Mohamad Nur as President Director of ALII explained that currently the company has 40 units of barges which will be targeted to increase to 57 units. Meanwhile, there are 40 tugboats owned and will be added to 70 units. All additional units will be added in 2024.
“We hope that by the end of the year the barges will be 57 units and the tugboats will have 70 units.”
Currently, 9 tugboat units are under construction and 16 other new units are still on order. In addition to privately owned vessels, ALII also operates chartered vessels. Other strategies to be implemented by ALII include increasing the capacity of intermediate stockpiles and adding floating transshipment units.
